Job summary

Michaels, The Michaels Companies Inc., is seeking a Sales Manager at our Charlotte, NC store to lead a high‑performing selling culture and deliver strong sales results through coaching and strong customer focus. You will oversee front-end and service operations, ensure compliance with SOPs, manage POS and Self-Checkout, and champion loyalty programs and omni‑channel services.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
Model and coach customer experience and selling behaviors to drive conversion and satisfaction.
Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
Oversee POS and Self-Checkout systems for smooth transactions and support.
Drive omni-channel services including BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
Promote and enroll customers in the Loyalty Rewards Program.
Train and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
