Job summary

The Michaels in Pittsburgh is seeking a Sales Manager to lead front-end and service operations, driving a high-performing selling culture and strong customer experience. You will coach staff, manage MOD coverage, and ensure brand standards across selling, service, and operations.

You will oversee POS systems, omni-channel fulfillment (BOPIS and Same Day Delivery), and in-store programs while promoting loyalty enrollment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-end and service operations to drive selling behaviors and brand standards.
• Coach and develop team through onboarding and ongoing training.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain store conditions and results.
• Ensure accurate use of POS and Self-Checkout systems for smooth transactions.
• Drive omni-channel services including BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
• Promote Loyalty Rewards enrollment and customer retention.
• Oversee in-store programs (Balloons, parties, framing, knit & sew).
• Maintain Asset Protection practices and reduce shrink.
