Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. in Butler, PA seeks a Retail Full Time Sales Manager to lead a high-performing store team, drive sales, and deliver an engaging customer experience. You will oversee front-end operations, SOP adherence, and day-to-day execution with a focus on KPIs and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, managing store programs, POS accuracy, BOPIS and delivery, and maintaining asset protection while supporting special events and in-store programs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent customer interactions.
• Strong communication and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and champion a high-performing selling culture across the store.
• Oversee front-end and service operations with SOP compliance.
• Coach team members to improve selling behaviours and customer experience.
• Provide MOD coverage and ensure operational continuity.
• Manage POS, Self-Checkout, and omni-channel services (BOPIS, Same Day Delivery).
• Drive loyalty program enrollment and protection plan adoption.
• Coordinate events and in-store programs (Balloons, Knit & Sew Shop, Custom Framing).
