Job summary

Michaels in Meriden, CT is seeking a Sales Manager to lead the store’s selling culture, drive sales results, and deliver an engaging customer experience. You will oversee front-end and service operations, ensuring brand standards and KPI achievement through customer-focused coaching and daily execution.

Responsibilities include POS and Self-Checkout operations, Loyalty and protection plan programs, and leadership of the Knit & Sew Shop as well as BOPIS and Same Day Delivery services.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Experience leading front-end operations and customer service.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and champion selling culture across the store to boost sales and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee front-end and service operations to ensure brand standards and SOP compliance.
• Provide MOD coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Drive omni-channel service, including BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
• Promote Loyalty Rewards program and MCC/Extend services to customers.
• Coach and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing training.
• Maintain asset protection practices to reduce shrink.
