Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. store in Wareham, MA is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing selling culture, drive strong sales results, and deliver an engaging customer experience.

You will oversee front-end and service operations, ensure brand standards, and coach the team to execute selling behaviors. With 3+ years of retail leadership, you will provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, manage POS and checkout systems, and champion loyalty programs while guiding omni-channel initiatives

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience
• Ability to work nights, weekends and early mornings

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Ensure execution of Company policies and standards, maintaining store conditions and results.
• Coach and model customer experience and selling behaviors to drive conversion and satisfaction.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, maintaining floor leadership and service standards.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout systems for smooth transactions and support.
• Lead in-store programs (Balloons, Birthday parties) and events; promote loyalty enrollments.
