Job summary

The Michaels Companies store in Westwood, MA is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing, customer-focused team and uphold brand standards across front-end and service operations. You will coach selling behaviors, drive KPIs, and ensure smooth omni-channel fulfillment while managing store conditions and daily execution.

You will train associates, oversee POS operations, and champion Loyalty Rewards participation, protection plans, and in-store programs.

Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years retail leadership experience.
Ability to lead and coach team members to meet selling standards.
Experience with POS and Self-Checkout systems preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead store with a focus on selling culture and customer experience.
Ensure SOPs and company programs are followed and policies are enforced.
Model and coach exemplary customer service and selling behaviors to improve conversion.
Provide MOD coverage, maintain floor leadership and operational continuity.
Oversee POS, Self-Checkout, and omni-channel order fulfillment (BOPIS/Same Day Delivery).
Promote Loyalty Rewards and protection plans to drive retention.
Drive sales and operational excellence in Knit & Sew Shop and related services.
Train and develop team through onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
Support Asset Protection to minimize shrink and maintain safety.
