Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in BOS-Westwood, MA is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing selling culture and deliver an engaging customer experience across the store. You will coach teams, ensure SOP adherence, and drive strong sales results with efficient day-to-day execution.

You will manage front-end operations, promote loyalty programs, and oversee omnichannel services like BOPIS and Same Day Delivery while supporting framing, party services, and gift offerings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Experience leading front-end and service operations.
• Ability to coach customer experience and selling behaviors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach store team to maintain SOPs and company programs.
• Ensure policies, store conditions, and results meet standards.
• Model customer experience and selling behaviors to drive conversions.
• Provide MOD coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Ensure accurate use of POS and Self-Checkout for transactions.
• Oversee balloons, birthday parties, and other in-store events.
• Promote and enroll customers in Loyalty Rewards Program.
• Champion MCC/Extend services and protection plans.
• Drive Knit & Sew Shop sales and the Cut Bar experience.
• Oversee BOPIS and Same Day Delivery execution.
• Support Custom Framing operations with consultations.
• Train and develop team through onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
• Partner to maintain Asset Protection and shrink control.
