Job summary

Michaels is seeking team members to deliver friendly customer service in a public retail environment. You will help customers shop, locate products, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience with proper cash handling.

You’ll also participate in omnichannel processes and in-store merchandising duties to keep the store well-stocked and aligned with brand standards. The role involves standing for long periods, handling boxes, and working varied hours including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns and go-backs
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; maintain brand standards
• Interact respectfully with others; promote company values; be a positive role model
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
