Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking an Operations Service Manager in South Carolina, Summerville, to lead and develop store teams, drive customer service excellence, and oversee daily operations.

You will model company values, build strong teams, and partner with district leadership to achieve results. You will coach Cashiers and Customer Service Supervisors, coordinate Receiving operations, and ensure compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Retail Management or Store Operations experience
• Able to work a flexible schedule including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 40 lbs
• Experience utilizing scheduling and reporting computer software
• Travel may be required

Responsibilities

• Lead the Customer Service and Cashier teams, driving compliance to company policies and standards, safekeeping of company funds and property, asset protection, sales, and record keeping procedures.
• Provide guidance to the Customer Service Supervisors to ensure they meet customer service expectations and there is smooth customer flow at the registers.
• Manage the overall execution of operations and receiving SOPs.
• Lead the overall receiving process including transfers, debits, damages, and chargebacks and partner with the Receiving Supervisor to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Act as the Manager on Duty (MOD); setting the leadership example for customers, associates, and driving results in the store.
• Support the Store Manager with staffing, sourcing, interviewing, training, and succession planning.
