Job summary

Kroger Co. is seeking a Store Leader to oversee operations across departments and support store performance. You will manage scheduling, safety, sanitation, and human resources duties while upholding Kroger’s values of respect, inclusion and safety.

You will partner with department managers to drive sales, control costs, and lead teams through change, delivering results in a fast-paced retail environment. Strong leadership and coaching are essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and developing associates to achieve customer service, operational, and business goals.
• Experience using KPIs, metrics, and data insights to identify opportunities, solve problems, and support business decisions.
• Collaborate across departments and influence others to drive store performance.
• Proven track record delivering improvements across multiple areas of store performance.

Responsibilities

• Assist store manager and associates in delivering a superior customer shopping experience and promote customer service.
• Lead teams in planning, implementing and executing merchandising and operating initiatives.
• Develop action plans/communications based on Associate Insight survey results.
• Work with department heads to identify opportunities and implement timely solutions.
• Model exceptional customer service and address associate and customer concerns.
