Job summary

Safelite Group in Virginia Beach is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead front-line teammates and ensure a memorable customer experience at our local auto glass service center. You will oversee daily operations, training, inventory control, and safety while coaching staff to deliver high-quality service.

This role requires strong leadership, 3–5 years in retail or service environments, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED/Equivalent or 3–5 years of leadership/supervisory experience.
• 1+ year supervisory/leadership/key holder experience.
• 3–5 years of retail or service center experience; automotive experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and work outdoors in various weather.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and lead associates to ensure productivity and world-class customer service.
• Provide cross-training for operational stability.
• Manage work order assignments and routing of mobile jobs; ensure timely loading and transit.
• Train associates on installation techniques and required documentation.
• Monitor productivity, inventory and cleanliness to meet quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulations.
