Job summary

Safelite is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead front line associates and deliver a memorable customer experience at our Virginia Beach location. You will oversee operations, staffing, cash handling, inventory, safety, and store appearance.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of supervisory or leadership experience in retail or service centers, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to work outdoors in varied weather.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED/Equivalent or 3–5 years of leadership/supervisory experience.
• 1+ year of supervisory/leadership/key holder experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in retail or service center environments; automotive experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, web applications, and general office equipment.
• Comfort working outside in varying weather conditions.
• Professional appearance and PPE compliance.
• Physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs, stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and lead activities of associates to ensure productivity and world-class customer service.
• Provide cross-training for operational stability.
• Handle customer complaints/warranty issues and manage casualty losses/repairs.
• Manage work order assignments and routing of mobile jobs.
• Ensure procedures are followed, vehicles are loaded, and in transit on time.
• Train associates on installation techniques and internal technology platforms.
• Monitor productivity, inventory and cleanliness to meet quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.
