Job summary

Five Below is seeking a motivated manager to lead store operations and coach a team of associates. You will ensure fast, friendly checkout and top-notch customer service while overseeing daily activities and stock handling. You’ll act as Manager on Duty, open/close the store, train staff, and drive sales through merchandising improvements.

The role emphasizes effective communication, multitasking, and calm leadership under pressure to deliver a WOW customer experience every day.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• College experience preferred for growth.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience stated.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks.
• Creative thinking with the ability to adapt.
• Maintains composure under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers with personal service and trains crew on the BEST experience.
• Oversee daily store activities and ensure excellent service by associates.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and stocking to the floor quickly.
• Act as Manager on Duty, handling operations and staff issues.
• Open or close the store, secure cash, and set up for the day.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drive sales and manage expenses by improving merchandising and service.
• Collaborate with leadership on merchandising procedures.
• Perform store maintenance and upkeep tasks.
