Job summary

POP MART in New York seeks an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations and supervise Brand Associates, ensuring excellent customer service. The role requires opening/closing the store, merchandising oversight, and inventory management while upholding POP MART standards.

The candidate will drive sales, support events, and collaborate with the Store Manager to optimize performance in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Retail leadership experience required; more than 2 years in store leadership.
• Confident and comfortable engaging customers to deliver great experience.
• Ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and implement solutions.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and implement directives.
• High level of ethics, values, integrity, and trust.
• Must be 18 years old or older with a High School Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Brand Associates setting expectations, goals, and developing talent.
• Act as the manager on duty in the store, delivering results and a positive experience.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment for customers and staff.
• Set high store standards reflecting the brand image, values, and culture.
• Support marketing events, in-store and pop-up activities, and RoboShop as needed.
• Improve sales performance and meet KPIs such as conversion and dollars per transaction.
• Drive sales of core products like Blind boxes, MEGA, and accessories.
• Execute Visual Merchandising/Marketing directives and manage inventory responsibilities.
