Job summary

Smoothie King is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Surprise, AZ to support the General Manager in delivering an exceptional guest experience while upholding brand standards. You will assist with hiring, team development, and daily operations to ensure customer satisfaction and store performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a shift lead in a restaurant or similar type of retail customer service business.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic POS and computer functions
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and the community, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to work the hours needed to run your store effectively, which might include a variety of days, evenings, weekends, holidays.
• ServSafe Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager with hiring, developing, and leading the team to provide a great guest experience.
• Use operational tools to achieve operational excellence.
• Assist the General Manager in developing local store marketing plans and community outreach.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to deliver smoothies and healthy products; review KPIs and address issues with GM.
• Manage cash activities for the store.
• Ensure food safety compliance in-store; ensure all team members are compliant.
• Champion and embody our culture, mission, and core values.
• Maintain store cleanliness; coordinate equipment updates and facility upkeep.
• Drive implementation of company programs through action planning and team motivation.
• Communicate marketing strategies and promotions to the team for proper execution.
