Job summary

Smoothie King is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Pennsylvania to help lead a store to deliver exceptional guest experiences and uphold brand standards. You will assist the GM with hiring, training, and daily operations, including cash handling, safety, and marketing initiatives.

The AGM will use tools like P&L, DBR, and Data Central, guide local marketing, and ensure KPIs are met while maintaining store cleanliness and culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a shift lead in a restaurant or retail service.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic POS and computer functions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and the community, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to work the hours needed to run your store effectively, including days, evenings, weekends, holidays.
• ServSafe Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the GM with hiring, developing, and leading the team to deliver great guest experiences while upholding the mission.
• Use P&L, Daily Business Review, Cash & Deposit Log, and Data Central tools for ops excellence.
• Assist the GM in developing local store marketing plans to support brand initiatives.
• Collaborate with the GM to deliver the best smoothies and healthy products; review KPIs to identify issues and improve.
• Manage cash activities for the store (daily deposits, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with food safety guidelines; ensure team compliance as well.
• Champion and embody our culture, mission, and core values.
• Maintain store cleanliness and upkeep; conduct monthly inspections and equipment updates.
• Drive implementation of company programs through action planning and inspired teams.
• Communicate marketing strategies and promotions in-store to ensure proper execution.
