Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years’ experience as a shift lead in a restaurant or similar retail service business.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic POS and computer functions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and the community.
• Ability to work the hours needed to run your store effectively, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• ServSafe Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager with hiring, developing, and leading the team to provide a great guest experience.
• Use operational tools like P&L, Daily Business Review, Cash & Deposit Log, and Data Central scheduling/inventory tools.
• Develop local store marketing plans to support brand initiatives and events.
• Collaborate with the GM to deliver top smoothies and healthy products; review KPIs and address issues.
• Manage cash activities for the store, including daily deposits.
• Ensure compliance with food safety guidelines and that team members comply.
• Champion and embody Smoothie King's culture, mission, and core values.
• Maintain store cleanliness and upkeep; coordinate equipment and facilities maintenance.
• Drive program implementation and motivate teams to meet operational standards.
• Communicate marketing strategies and promotions in-store to the team for proper execution.
