Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. Duties include helping with day-to-day store activities, assisting customers, organizing merchandise, and supporting payroll and scheduling.

This role involves supervising associates and maintaining a safe, clean store environment. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug stores preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store functions and activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Support merchandising, stocking, and loss prevention activities to maintain store standards.
• Assist in payroll, scheduling, and deposits as part of store operations.
• Help train and develop store associates and supervise as needed.
