Family Dollar is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily activities, help customers, organize merchandise, and ensure store standards.

The role involves opening/closing duties, payroll and scheduling, and loss prevention tasks as needed. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and prior store management experience in retail or grocery.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail or grocery environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical tasks as described.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional displays and store cleanliness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and loss prevention tasks.
• Supervise and develop Store Associates.
