Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a lead-in-role for store operations in Michigan. You will open and close the store without management, handle cash and POS tasks, and ensure both sales floors and stock rooms are ready for the day.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including systems start-ups and cash handling; ensures floor and stock room are ready for the business day.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change as requested to cash registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers by greeting and offering assistance with products and services; resolves issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintains inventory counts, pricing signage, and backroom organization; supports vendor deliveries and displays.
• Assists with training and development of team members; communicates tasks when management is absent.
