Job summary

CarMax is seeking a Business Operations Associate in Fairfield, CA to support store operations with a strong emphasis on accurate processing of sales, auctions, and appraisals. You will handle cash management, audit critical paperwork, and communicate clearly with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, interpret, and record data accurately for compliance and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers and guiding them through paperwork processes.
• Process and audit paperwork for retail and wholesale sales, including deal jackets, finance contracts, and DMV documentation.
• Manage auction and appraisal transactions with accurate titles, payoffs, and documentation for funding.
• Handle cash management tasks, including receiving payments and preparing deposits.
• Train and mentor new associates and support store operations across departments.
• Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and reconciling missing information with accuracy.
• Follow EH&S requirements and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
