Job summary

Kohl’s is seeking an Operations Manager or Merchandising Manager in Norwalk, CT to oversee store operations and merchandising, coaching associates to execute processes, and drive sales and profitability. You will ensure accurate stockroom management, pricing, and customer service excellence across all channels.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience supervising teams or associates, including coaching to achieve daily goals and performance management.
• Great verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent decision‑making and problem‑solving skills to make quick decisions.
• Strong people management skills and ability to develop talent.
• Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations and/ or merchandising to drive sales and profitability.
• Coach and develop associates to execute operational, service and merchandising processes.
• Manage stockroom and omni-channel fulfillment to ensure accurate product availability.
• Lead point-of-sale/customer service to deliver fast, quality service and a compelling customer experience.
• Maintain merchandising standards, pricing accuracy, and visual presentation per brand directives.
• Train new hires on processes, inventory procedures, and Kohl’s tools.
