Job summary

Burlington Stores is seeking an Operations Service Manager in Worcester, MA to lead Customer Service and Cashier teams, ensure policy compliance, and drive store performance. The role involves overseeing receiving and inventory accuracy, acting as Manager on Duty, and supporting staffing and development efforts across the store.

The candidate will guide supervisors, manage operations, and collaborate with district/regional teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Retail Management or Store Operations experience in Off Price, Big Box, Specialty or multi-unit retail
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 40 lbs
• Experience using scheduling and reporting computer software
• Travel may be required when needed

Responsibilities

• Lead the Customer Service and Cashier teams, ensuring policy compliance, asset protection, sales, and record keeping
• Provide guidance to Customer Service Supervisors for smooth register flow
• Manage overall execution of operations and receiving SOPs
• Lead the receiving process (transfers, debits, damages, chargebacks) with Receiving Supervisor
• Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) to model leadership and drive store results
• Support Store Manager with staffing, sourcing, interviewing, training and succession planning
• Assist in other store operations areas as needed
• Communicate effectively with District and Regional Management teams
