Job summary

CubeSmart Self-Storage is hiring for a Store Operations Manager who will handle customer relations, leasing, payments, and daily store tasks. You will walk the property, manage the leasing process, and deliver outstanding service to customers.

Responsibilities include driving sales, processing invoices, overseeing budgets, and maintaining a clean, safe facility while coordinating with a team to ensure smooth operations.

• Basic computer skills including MS Office products.
• You must have the ability to work Saturdays.
• Access to a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance are required.
• While performing the duties of this job, you will be frequently required to stand, sit, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, climb or balance on a ladder.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future sponsorship.
• Some locations may require Sunday hours.

Responsibilities

• Developing customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interacting face to face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
• Meeting monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walking the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Working both independently and on a team renting self-storage spaces, selling store merchandise, managing the leasing process, accepting payments utilizing our POS system, completing daily bank deposits, and making courtesy calls regarding late payments.
• Managing invoice reviews and approvals within the database.
• Processing invoices, managing reports and legal processes of auctions.
• Overseeing the store’s expense budget while maintaining store supplies and retail inventory.
