CubeSmart is hiring for a Store Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day store activities, customer service excellence, and property maintenance. You will build customer relationships, manage leasing, process payments, and ensure smooth store operations while meeting sales goals.

The role emphasizes hands-on management of the store budget, inventory, and safety standards, with opportunities for growth across CubeSmart locations.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering high quality customer service.
• Self-driven mindset with strong operational focus.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office.
• Ability to work Saturdays.
• Access to a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Some locations may require Sunday hours.

Responsibilities

• Develop customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interacting face to face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
• Meeting monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walking the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Renting self-storage spaces, selling store merchandise, managing the leasing process, accepting payments via POS, and making daily deposits.
• Managing the invoice review and approval responsibilities within database and processing invoices.
• Overseeing the store’s expense budget and maintaining inventory.
