Job summary

Insomnia Cookies is seeking a Store Operations Manager (GM) for our Charlotte, NC location. You will lead a hospitality-focused team, ensure top-notch service and store operations, and drive sales with a strong culture of excellence.

The role offers robust training, mentorship and growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding brand. Candidates should have 3+ years in restaurant/retail leadership and be available Thu–Sun shifts. Benefits include comprehensive coverage and a 401K.

Qualifications

3+ years of management/leadership experience in a restaurant or retail setting.
Availability to work 2-3 mid-to-late shifts Thursday–Sunday.
Benevolent leadership with a player-coach approach to daily management.
Strong hospitality mindset with exceptional customer service.
Proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel, MS Teams and ATS usage.
Familiarity with commercial convection ovens is a plus.

Responsibilities

Hire, coach and develop a diverse part-time hourly staff (Shift Leaders, Cookie Crew, Drivers).
Lead service components: food quality, customer service, staff friendliness, store cleanliness.
Build a culture of excellence focused on cookie quality, service and sales growth.
Manage and audit inventory to maintain proper controls.
Create and execute local marketing drops and in-store recognition programs.
