Wawa, Inc in Valdosta, GA is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) who will be a hands-on leader responsible for daily operations, team development, and driving results. You will oversee business performance and profitability while leading hiring, training, and growth of Customer Service Associates.

As AGM, you will monitor store performance, schedule staff, ensure safety and quality standards, and collaborate with peers to develop action plans that improve metrics.

Qualifications

• Flexible availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Proven leadership experience, ideally in food service or retail environments.
• Strong background in store operations: staffing, training, performance management, and scheduling.
• Ability to implement change and drive results through effective execution.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every customer leaves satisfied by gathering feedback and solving problems.
• Lead training for Customer Service Associates to meet safety, quality and operational standards.
• Support hiring, onboarding, coaching, recognizing and motivating the team.
• Coordinate schedules and daily tasks to keep operations running efficiently.
• Monitor store performance, review reports, manage shrink, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with peers to develop action plans that drive optimal results.
