Job summary

Wawa, Inc. in United States is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to lead daily operations and develop the store team. You will drive profitability, oversee hiring, training, and growth of Customer Service Associates, and ensure a high-quality customer experience.

You will oversee performance, schedules, and adherence to safety and quality standards while coordinating with peers to deliver strong results in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Flexible availability including weekends/holidays.
• Leadership experience in retail/food service is a plus.
• Strong background in store operations: staffing, training, performance management, scheduling, and expense control.
• Ability to implement change and drive results.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every customer leaves satisfied by gathering feedback and solving problems.
• Execute engaging training for Customer Service Associates to meet safety, quality, and operational standards.
• Support hiring, onboarding, coaching, recognizing and motivating the team.
• Coordinate schedules and daily tasks to keep operations running efficiently.
• Monitor store performance, review reports, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with peers to develop action plans that drive optimal results.
