Wawa is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to drive daily operations, develop teams, and boost store performance. This hands‑on leader will oversee profitability, hiring, training and growth of Customer Service Associates, while delivering a superior customer experience.

The AGM will coordinate schedules, monitor performance, and implement improvements. Strong leadership, staffing, and communication skills are essential for success in this role at Wawa.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Flexible availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Proven leadership experience, ideally in food service or retail environments
• Strong background in store operations, including staffing, training, performance management, sales building, scheduling, and expense control
• Ability to implement change and drive results through effective execution
• Excellent communication, relationship building and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations and profitability while ensuring a customer‑centric experience
• Lead hiring, onboarding, coaching and growth of Customer Service Associates
• Coordinate schedules and daily tasks to keep operations running smoothly
• Monitor store performance, review reports, manage shrink and identify improvement opportunities
• Drive training programs to ensure safety, quality and operational standards
• Collaborate with peers to develop action plans for optimal results
