Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking an Operations Assistant Store Manager in Training (OASM-IT) to gain hands-on experience across store operations. During a training period of up to 6 weeks, you will learn to manage Customer Service Desk, Receiving, Tool Rental, Order Fulfillment, Lot Loaders, and Back Office under the Store Manager’s guidance.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience, with 2+ years of leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a structured training program covering store operations, customer service, sales and profitability.
• Learn staffing, scheduling, and supervision to support sales routines and service needs.
• Demonstrate performance management processes for associate performance and disciplinary actions.
• Assist in opening and closing MOD duties and adherence to SOPs, safety, and shrink mitigation.
• Drive customer service and associate engagement to resolve issues promptly.
