Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience as department manager, service manager, or equivalent.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing associates to achieve goals in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Experience using KPIs, metrics, and data insights to guide decisions.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and influence others to drive store performance.
• Proven success in driving customer experience, sales growth, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Assist store manager and associates to deliver excellent customer service and uphold Kroger’s reputation.
• Lead/coach teams in planning and executing merchandising and operating initiatives.
• Develop action plans based on Associate Insight survey results.
• Identify opportunities with department heads and implement timely solutions.
• Model and promote highest level of customer service and address issues promptly.
• Oversee total store operations in the store manager’s absence.
• Aim to meet or exceed weekly, period, and annual sales and labor budgets.
