Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, drive sales growth, and control expenses. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will develop personnel, foster collaboration, and uphold ALDI values.

You will help manage schedules, train staff, ensure POS accuracy, and maintain merchandising standards while delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail and management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee resolution of employee and customer concerns with store manager guidance.
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to personnel.
• Develop and implement action plans to improve operating results and personnel development.
• Lead store tours during interviews and provide hiring recommendations.
• Inform the store manager of team developments and concerns promptly.
• Interact effectively with all ALDI staff, customers, vendors and partners.
• Lead and supervise the team to achieve sales and high performance.
• Model ALDI values and promote teamwork.
• Train and develop staff using company training materials.
• Ensure compliance with customer service principles and proper interactions.
• Address personnel and customer concerns or escalate as needed.
• Ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
