Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help supervise day-to-day store activities, manage schedules, and develop operational action plans while identifying training opportunities to grow the team. You will assist with achieving store performance and maintaining store standards.

The role requires communication and leadership to ensure customer service excellence and compliance with company policies. Full-time position in a retail environment with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 3+ years of progressive experience in a retail environment.
• Prior management experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Compliance with state requirements for handling alcohol (where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Assist direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.
• Establish and communicate responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports.
• Identify training opportunities for direct reports to improve performance.
• Model company values to foster teamwork and store culture.
• Monitor community competition and advise adjustments to maintain competitiveness.
• Participate in interviewing store personnel and handle weekly communications.
