Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to assist with day-to-day store operations, supervision, scheduling, and development of the team. You will implement action plans to improve performance, manage inventory and cash controls, and uphold store standards.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and focus on customer service, with opportunities to train staff and drive store results across assigned shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 3 years of progressive experience in a retail environment; management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.
• Establishes and communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports.
• Identifies training and development opportunities for direct reports.
• Models ALDI values and drives teamwork.
• Maintains inventory procedures, product handling, and cash controls to minimize losses.
• Interviews store personnel and participates in recruitment.
• Ensures cleanliness and proper store signage at all times.
• Orders product to maintain stock levels and maximize sales.
• Merchandises products neatly and ensures price signage accuracy.
