Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Store Leader to oversee day-to-day operations, train and develop the store team, and drive sales and EBITDA results.

You will coach and develop all store team members while upholding the company’s values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety. This role leads merchandising and operations initiatives, manages budgets, staffing, and works with leadership to ensure customer service and store performance.

Qualifications

• Possess high school degree or equivalent.
• Effective communication and reading skills.
• Complete Leadership Training Program.
• Proven technical/professional skills or knowledge in position or related areas.
• 3 years of experience in a leadership role or equivalent.
• Must be 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Lead store teams in planning, implementing and executing merchandising and operation initiatives.
• Identify opportunities in the store, develop timely solutions and action plans for implementation.
• Achieve or exceed weekly, period, and annual sales, revenue and profit budgets.
• Drive cost effective sales, reduce shrink and improve each store’s contribution.
• Discuss store-level financial performance including budgets and goals with team leads.
• Understand and react to the competitive landscape within the district and store.
• Demonstrate inclusive leadership and support store and area efforts.
• Promote strong relationships with local community organizations.
