Qualifications

• Retail management experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to resolve issues effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interaction with customers and team members.
• Ability to supervise and motivate a team to achieve sales goals.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash handling and inventory control.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Experience working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist store leader and team in delivering a favorable customer shopping experience through great store conditions and service.
• Lead teams in planning, implementing, and executing merchandising and operating initiatives.
• Collaborate with team to identify opportunities, develop solutions, and implement action plans.
• Drive sales with team to maximize profits, reduce shrink, and improve department contributions.
• Support store leader in budget discussions and achievement of targets.
• Analyze competitive landscape and respond with appropriate actions.
• Coordinate with divisions to implement merchandising and operational plans.
• Provide feedback to store leadership on effectiveness of plans and programs.
• Assist with staffing, retention, and reducing turnover.
• Provide timely performance feedback to team members.
• Help manage labor and supply costs to meet service and financial goals.
• Physical demands include standing, lifting ~50 lbs, and repetitive motion.
