Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years of experience as an assistant store leader or equivalent at the same or higher pay level.
• Completion of Leadership Essentials Program is required.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Experience overseeing financial responsibilities, including budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead store teams in merchandising and operations to keep the store customer-ready daily.
• Identify opportunities with leaders and associates, develop solutions and action plans.
• Achieve and exceed weekly, period, and annual sales, revenue and profit budgets.
• Drive cost-effective sales, reduce shrink and improve each department's contribution.
• Discuss store financial performance, including budgets and costs, with leadership.
• Understand and react to the competitive landscape within the district and store.
• Promote inclusive leadership and support Our Promise teams.
• Coordinate with field Merchandising teams to execute marketing plans.
• Build relationships with local community organizations and unions if applicable.
• Communicate essential information to associates and manage staffing and turnover.
