Job summary

The Kroger Co. is a national grocery leader seeking a Store Manager/Department Manager to oversee daily store operations, scheduling, merchandising, and performance. You will lead teams, drive sales, manage budgets, and ensure safety and customer satisfaction across departments.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma and at least one year in a department or store management role; preference for retail leadership experience and strong people skills in a unionized or non-union setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of experience as department manager, service manager, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Learn operations of all departments and duties of store management.
• Demonstrate core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.
• Assist store manager and associates in delivering a favorable customer shopping experience and campaigns to improve service.
