Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• 1 year of experience as department manager or equivalent role.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing associates to achieve goals.
• Experience using KPIs and data insights to guide decisions.
• Ability to collaborate across departments to improve store performance.

Responsibilities

• Assist store manager and associates in delivering a positive customer experience.
• Lead teams in planning, implementing and executing merchandising/operating initiatives.
• Develop action plans to improve survey results and associate engagement.
• Identify store opportunities and create timely solutions with department heads.
• Model exceptional customer service and resolve issues for customers and staff.
• Support budgeting discussions and monitor labor, safety, and expenses.
• Drive sales by maximizing department profitability and reducing shrink.
• Monitor store performance against goals and adjust strategies as needed.
