Sprouts Farmers Market in Albuquerque, NM is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to direct all store processes and drive sales, guest satisfaction and efficiency. You will coach a team of about ten department managers and receivers, uphold safety and compliance standards, and model Sprouts leadership in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes people development, inventory control, and execution of company programs to deliver strong results and customer advocacy across departments.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent; a related degree is preferred.
• 1–3 years of retail experience with leadership and P&L knowledge.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic bookkeeping, timekeeping and HR software.
• Strong communication, detail orientation, problem solving and decision making.
• Flexible to work nights, weekends and holidays; food safety certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct all business processes at the store to drive sales and efficiency.
• Lead a team of approximately ten people and develop the leadership team.
• Oversee compliance with safety, labeling, health, and weights and measures standards.
• Manage inventory, labor, and expenses to meet targets and maintain profitability.
• Address emergencies and issues with urgency while maintaining customer service standards.
