Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to direct store operations, drive sales, and lead a team of department managers and receivers. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining safety and compliance, and ensuring accurate pricing and inventory control in a fast-paced environment.

You will mentor leaders, optimize labor, and collaborate with store leadership to meet performance targets while upholding Sprouts values and customer advocacy.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years old; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years of retail experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Proven ability to manage perishable and non-perishable departments.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and store accounting tools.

Responsibilities

• Direct all business processes at the assigned Sprouts store.
• Lead a team of approximately ten people including department managers and receivers.
• Drive sales, labor management, and expense controls toward targets.
• Ensure compliance with safety, labeling, health, and weights standards.
• Oversee inventory, merchandising, pricing accuracy, and shrink reduction.
• Communicate policies, initiatives, and product knowledge across teams.
• Address emergencies and operational issues with urgency and judgment.
