Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, drive sales, control expenses, and ensure customer satisfaction. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will lead teams, train personnel, and uphold ALDI’s values while adhering to policies.

The role offers full-time hours, a starting wage of $26.00 per hour with a $1 increase in Year 2, and frequent opportunities to advance within a fast-growing company.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Ability to lead and develop store personnel.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee resolution of employee and customer concerns with store manager guidance.
• Communicate responsibilities and expectations to staff; lead and develop personnel.
• Assist in developing and implementing plans to improve operations and development.
• Lead store tours during interviews and provide hiring recommendations.
• Inform store manager of team developments and concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with ALDI employees, customers, vendors and partners.
