Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent preferred.
• Department Manager or equivalent experience required.
• Strong understanding of store operations and total store merchandising techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Good judgment solving problems and decisions, handling complaints and disputes.
• Desire and ability to lead and manage associates across departments.
• Must meet physical requirements and age minimums.
• Must be accredited or able to attain accreditation as a Certified Food Safety Manager within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and develop associates.
• Manage performance through coaching, appraisal, and disciplinary actions.
• Provide leadership and motivate store team to reflect company values.
• Maintain an atmosphere of proactive customer service.
• Control store funds and assets responsibly.
• Ensure compliance with security, safety, and food safety standards.
• Use tools like financial reports, ACIS, scheduling, CAO, and BIS.
• Support achievement of store budgeted results.
• Serve as Manager on Duty when Store Manager absent.
• Assist Store Manager with day-to-day operations.
• Model customer service and reinforce core behaviors.
• Adhere to all guidelines, policies and standard practices.
• Maximize sales and minimize shrink via standard practices.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and staffing needs.
• Communicate expectations and train associates effectively.
• Complete CBT and formal training on time.
