Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent preferred.
• Department Manager or equivalent experience required.
• Strong understanding of store operations and total store merchandising techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Good judgment solving problems, making decisions, handling complaints and disputes.
• Desire and ability to lead and manage associates across departments.
• Must meet minimum age requirements and safety accreditation within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and develop associates.
• Manage performance through coaching, appraisal and disciplinary actions.
• Provide leadership to promote a culture aligned with Guiding Principles, Core Values, Vision and Strategy.
• Maintain an enthusiastic customer service atmosphere and fast service.
• Control store funds and company assets.
• Observe safety, security, and food safety standards and correct issues.
• Utilize financial reports, ACIS, CAO, and business information systems.
• Support achievement of store budgeted financial and operating results.
• Serve as Manager on Duty when the Store Manager is absent.
• Assist Store Manager with day-to-day operations and cross-department tasks.
