Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent preferred.
• Department Manager or equivalent experience required.
• Strong understanding of store operations and total store merchandising techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• National Registry of Food Safety Professionals or equivalent cert. as a "Certified Food Safety Manager" or willing to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and develop associates.
• Manage performance through coaching, appraisal, and disciplinary actions.
• Provide leadership and motivate store teams to reflect company values.
• Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer awareness and fast service.
• Control store funds and company assets.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, and food safety standards.
• Utilize company tools for reporting, inventory, scheduling, ordering, and business information systems.
• Support achievement of budgeted financial and operating results.
• Serve as Manager on Duty when the Store Manager is unavailable.
• Assist Store Manager with day-to-day store operations.
• Model customer service and core company values across departments.
