Job summary

CubeSmart is seeking a Store Operations Manager to oversee daily store functions, customer interactions, leasing, and payments processing at a busy self‑storage location. You’ll balance customer service with operational tasks and ensure the store runs smoothly.

Ideal candidates bring strong communication, dependability, and basic MS Office skills. A valid driver’s license, vehicle, and U.S. work authorization are required. Weekend availability may be needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering high quality customer service to a diverse customer market.
• A self-driven mindset with strong operational focus.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office products.
• You must have the ability to work Saturdays.
• Access to a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance are required.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, kneel, and balance during shifts.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interact face to face with customers, delivering excellent service and building rapport.
• Meet monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walk the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Work independently and with the team to rent storage spaces, sell store merchandise, and manage leasing and payments via POS.
• Review and approve invoices within the database and manage related reports.
• Process invoices and manage reports and auctions as needed.
• Oversee the store’s expense budget and maintain supplies and inventory.
