Job summary

Burlington Coat Factory is seeking an Operations Service Manager in Fort Worth, TX. You will lead Customer Service and Cashier teams, drive policy compliance, safeguard assets, and ensure high standards of service in a fast-paced store environment.

You will also supervise Receiving operations, support staffing and training, and partner with District/Regional management to achieve store goals. The role requires flexibility and physical capability to handle material and inventory tasks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Retail Management or Store Operations experience in a large multi-unit retail organization.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift and move boxes up to 40 lbs.
• Experience using scheduling and reporting software.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Customer Service and Cashier teams, ensuring policy compliance and efficient operations.
• Guide Customer Service Supervisors to maintain customer service standards and smooth checkout flow.
• Oversee overall operations and receiving SOPs to protect assets and inventory accuracy.
• Manage receiving processes including transfers, debits, damages, and chargebacks with the Receiving Supervisor.
• Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) to model leadership and drive store results.
• Support Store Manager with staffing, sourcing, interviewing, training, and succession planning.
