CubeSmart Self-Storage is seeking a Store Operations Manager to lead day-to-day property operations, drive customer service excellence, and manage leasing, payments, and local budgets.

The role requires an outgoing personality, strong operating focus, ability to work Saturdays, and reliable vehicle access; you will walk the property, supervise staff, and ensure safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering high quality customer service to a diverse customer market.
• A self-driven mindset with strong operational focus.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office products.
• You must have the ability to work Saturdays.
• Access to a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance are required.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future sponsorship.
• Some locations may require Sunday hours.

Responsibilities

• Developing customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interacting face to face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
• Meeting monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walking the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Renting self-storage spaces, selling store merchandise, managing the leasing process, accepting payments utilizing the POS system, completing daily deposits, and making courtesy calls to customers regarding late payments.
• Managing the invoice review and approval responsibilities within the database.
• Processing invoices, managing reports and the legal process of auctions.
• Overseeing the store’s expense budget while maintaining store supplies and retail inventory.
• Daily walks of the property, cleaning units and grounds, opening/closing storage doors, and ensuring safety.
