Job summary

Big O Tires is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Missouri to supervise store operations and deliver excellent customer service. You will work with staff to ensure smooth daily operations, support sales, and educate customers on maintenance and repairs.

In this role you will assist with budgeting, monitor safety, train team members, and help resolve customer concerns. The position requires strong communication, reliability, and availability for holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to obtain state Vehicle Inspection license within one year of hire.
• Previous experience in retail or automotive sales or service.
• Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, averages and percentages.
• Ability to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
• Ability and willingness to work with hazardous materials.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States of America.

Responsibilities

• Build effective relationships with customers and staff to deliver positive experiences.
• Ensure prompt opening and closing of the location according to store hours.
• Perform store operations including customer service, sales, shop management and office duties.
• Promote services and products to customers.
• Guide staff in resolving customer concerns and achieving budgeted sales goals; analyze profitability and payroll objectives.
