Job summary

MFA Petroleum Company is seeking a Big O Store Manager for a Big O Tires store in Kansas. You will lead store operations, manage profitability, and train a team across sales, service, and office functions to meet service standards.

Your role requires strong leadership, budgeting, scheduling, and hands-on supervision to drive customer satisfaction and store performance in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a retail or service team.
• Ability to manage budgets and payroll.
• Knowledge of safety and PPE regulations.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to supervise and train staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of store operations including sales, office, shop, and management.
• Ensure opening and closing of the location according to hours.
• Promote sales by explaining benefits of services and products.
• Staff the store with adequate personnel and implement training.
• Supervise employees, conduct performance evaluations and resolve conflicts.
• Handle escalated customer issues and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Conduct weekly store meetings on safety, policies, and product changes.
• Set goals to meet sales, gross profit and payroll objectives.
• Review profit and loss statements and bank reconciliations.
• Oversee cash handling, deposits, and approvals of purchases.
• Maintain facilities, inventories and store appearance to standards.
• Complete required reports and ensure PPE compliance.
